The purpose of the American Society for Reconstructive Transplantation is to advance the science and practice of vascularized composite allotransplantion (VCA) through multidisciplinary collaboration in reconstructive transplant surgery and medicine. Central to our mission is to provide education, public awareness and advocacy to enhance the lives of the patients we serve.

Membership Categories & Yearly Dues

  • Full / International Full Member - $250

    Full membership may be granted to any individual who is a physician, surgeon, scientist or other specialist who is:

    i. actively engaged in the science or clinical practice of VCA; or
    ii. actively engaged in a field scientifically related to VCA; or
    iii. with a background in organ transplantation or reconstructive surgery and an interest in reconstructive transplantation

  • Active Military Member - $200
    A Full Member who is also Active Duty Military

  • Associate Member - $200
    Associate membership may be granted to any individual who has demonstrated a sustained and continued interest in the field of reconstructive surgery or transplantation but who does not otherwise qualify for membership in the Society.

  • Candidate Member / International Candidate Member - $125
    Candidate membership may be granted to any individual who is currently participating in a pre or postdoctoral training program related to the science and clinical practice of VCA.
